Valeria Chenchevaya says that being able to speak multiple languages has proven useful both professionally as well as personally.

When visiting a new place wherein a certain language is spoken other than the one spoken in the area that you reside, being able to speak with those in the city you are visiting is a definite advantage, says Valeria Chenchevaya. Valeria Chenchevaya learned Spanish and French while attending primary school in Miami, Florida.

During her time as a college student, Valeria Chenchevaya traveled to Europe, and for the first time, spoke fluently in French with native speakers on a regular basis. Knowing a different language opens up a new world of opportunity for those who do, adds Valeria Chenchevaya.

Valeria Chenchevaya has spoken to numerous individuals in languages that she was not fully capable of speaking for the majority of her life on numerous occasions. Valeria Chenchevaya believes that everyone should consider learning a new language, not only because there are endless benefits to being able to understand communication in a different way, but also because of the potential career opportunities that are available for those who are bilingual or multilingual, adds Valeria Chenchevaya.
